Is MT4 good for trading?

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is one of the most widely used trading platforms for forex and CFD markets. It provides charting tools, technical indicators, order management features, and support for automated trading through Expert Advisors (EAs).

MT4 is also highly customisable, allowing users to adjust charts, indicators, templates, and other platform features to suit their trading preferences.

One consideration is that MT4 is an older platform than MetaTrader 5 (MT5). As a result, traders seeking access to additional asset classes, expanded order functionality, or enhanced market analysis tools may prefer MT5, depending on their requirements and the products supported by their broker.
