Furthermore, Friday's upbeat US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) report reaffirmed market bets that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will hike interest rates in 2026, which assists the USD to hold steady near a two-month top and should cap the NZD/USD pair.
From a technical perspective, the recent failure near the 0.6000 psychological mark constituted the formation of a bearish double top pattern on the 4-hour chart.
